Anyone else recently overseed their lawn and lose all the seed yesterday?

I seeded my front yard 2 weeks ago, and the new seed germinated last week and is growing nicely. However, I ran out of time that weekend, and didn't get around to doing the back yard until last weekend. I had noticed a few sprouts Wednesday afternoon, but most of the seed needed another day or two to sprout and start taking root. After yesterday's torrential rains, almost all of the seed in the back yard is now gone (or in my mulchbeds). Bummer.

Oh well...the folks in Florida (and throughout the path of Michael) have much bigger problems, so I'm not going to sweat it. I'm just thankful that a tree didn't crush my house.
